Terms of Service

Last updated 2026

1. Account structure & applicability to household members

Family and Friends plans. By creating a Wellhome Family (or Friends) account, you ("Account Holder") confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of every individual who will use, or be given access to, that account — including all household or group members. You are responsible for informing every person you grant access to before they use the app, and for ensuring their use complies with these Terms. Wellhome treats acceptance of these Terms by the Account Holder as binding on all users of that account, whether or not each individual user separately reviewed them. If any household or group member does not agree to these Terms, the Account Holder should not grant that person access to the account.

Solo plans. These Terms apply solely to you as an individual user. You are the only person authorized to access your account.

Accounts with minor children. If you enable a profile for a child under 18 within your household account, you represent that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you are accepting these Terms on their behalf. You are responsible for supervising their use of the app.

2. Account security & password responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password), including for Family and Friends plans where credentials are shared among multiple household or group members. You agree to notify Wellhome promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account. Wellhome is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to keep your login credentials secure, including sharing your password with someone outside your intended household or group, or using a weak or reused password. Profile and Family Hub PINs are a convenience feature for in-home privacy, not a security control — anyone with the account password can reset them by email.

3. Data security & limitation of liability

Wellhome takes reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the privacy and security of the information you provide, including encrypted connections, authenticated access, and database-level row security that isolates each household account's data from every other account. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. Hackers and cybercriminals constantly develop new techniques, and despite our reasonable security measures no online service — including Wellhome — can be made fully immune to a determined attacker. We are not responsible for a breach that occurs despite reasonable security precautions on our part.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wellhome is not liable for any unauthorized access to, alteration of, or disclosure of your data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: a third party gaining access to your account through a password you shared or failed to secure; a sophisticated cyberattack despite our reasonable security measures; or a breach of a third-party service provider (such as our payment processor or hosting provider) that we do not control.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for data breaches caused by our own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or failure to comply with applicable data protection law, nor does it override any data breach notification obligations we are legally required to meet.

Data backups and loss. Wellhome creates automated daily backups of each household account to help protect against accidental loss. These backups are provided on a best-effort, "as available" basis and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable due to system failures, scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or events outside our reasonable control. We cannot guarantee that any specific routine, check-in, photo, handbook entry, or other item can always be fully recovered, and we are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to restore your data, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We strongly encourage you to use the in-app Export feature to keep your own copy of your household data, especially before making large changes or deleting profiles. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup of any content you consider irreplaceable. Wellhome's total liability for any data loss or failure to restore data — even if a backup exists but cannot be fully recovered — is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months before the loss, and in no event includes compensation for emotional distress, inconvenience, or the value of lost routines, records, or memories.

4. Subscription and billing

Plans are billed on the cadence shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your household keeps access until the end of the paid period. Extra profiles beyond those included in your plan are billed monthly at the price shown when you add them. Promo codes may change the price of the first term only, and free trials or promotional access are limited to one per email address.

5. Acceptable use

Use Wellhome for your own household or group. Do not resell access, attempt to reach other households' data, or use the service to harass or coerce a family member, caregiver or friend. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Not medical advice

Wellhome is a routine and habit tracker. Hydration goals, supplement reminders, movement targets and any insights shown are informational only and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional before making health decisions, especially for children.

7. Your content

Routines, notes, photos, handbook entries, bulletin posts and check-ins you add stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that content back to your household or group. You are responsible for anything you upload, including content about caregivers, nannies or children, and for having the right to share it.

8. Notifications and third-party links

Reminders and push notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis and depend on your device, browser and network — do not rely on them for anything time-critical or medical. Videos and links you embed are hosted by third parties and governed by their own terms.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Wellhome available, but the service is provided as-is without warranties. Features may be added, changed or retired. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date above and, where required, notify you.
